The Great American Pasttime
So since Sunday I have been to three baseball games, all right in a row. On sunday I watched the rockies beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-3. While at the ball park, I seen fathers with thier sons, daughters, and significant others. I watched the smiles on the faces of the kids when the fathers bought thier kids thier respective cotton candy, hot dogs, soda's, baseball bats, etc. and it made me think back to the experiences I shared with my dad watching dodger's games with my uncle. I remember how glad I felt when my dad and uncle got into a fight with a Cincinnati Reds' fan. The words "you hold him down while I slap the (enter expletive word here) out of him." As I think back and recall, I remember why it's called the great american pasttime. I went on to watch the Dodgers annihilate the Rockies' 16-10 in probably the best game I have ever seen. The game got so out of hand at one point in time, Rockies fans were passed out on the seats because they were losing so bad. In any event, the next day the colorado springs sky sox went on to beat the New Orleans Zephyr's 7-6 in 12 innings. It was a great 3 day experience and pictures will soon follow.
